Genuinely one of the best vet offices I’ve ever been to. They have free visits called happy visits for positive reinforcement AND they have in-house labs AND they’re quite affordable. The staff was super nice and compassionate; I could already see That Squid was not as scared of South Park as much with other vets. They also offer injectable heartworm and flea prevention which is a little more expensive than the chewable tablets but it’s a really nice option to have.

South Park did such a great job with our new puppy. The environment is so clean and everyone is so warm, professional and friendly! We’re new to Austin. Happy to find a great Veterinarian in the neighborhood.

We had the best experience at South Park Animal Hospital. My dog Teddy has the worst anxiety, and they were so gentle with him. They made him feel very comfortable during his treatment and he is feeling so much better! Very grateful for the team there and highly recommend!!

First time visiting this office with our new pup. Really great and friendly staff, took excellent care of our little guy. Answered questions/concerns and gave us a lot of good information on next steps so we can keep him happy and healthy!

I didn’t feel like the vet we saw gave much information. I had to keep asking questions and doing my own research to get answers. For the level of care provided, I didn’t feel it was worth the cost. I switched vets and the new vet also said they ran tests too close together (only two days apart), which shouldn’t have been done and cost a lot of money. I think they’d be fine for routine exams but not if your dog has actual medical issues. The vet techs were all super friendly though.

I highly recommend South Park Animal Hospital for anyone looking for a phenomenal vet. They have cared for two of my cats and gone above and beyond. The staff is so friendly and really takes the time to listen and ask lots of questions about the cats. They even followed up with me after I had to take one to an emergency vet hospital to make sure that he was doing okay. They contacted the ER to obtain his records. This speaks volumes about South Park. I have been thoroughly impressed and trust them fully. Do not hesitate to take your fur babies here!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting South Park Animal Hospital with my pet, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Dr. Shuman is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely caring. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. South Park was only able to vaccinate one of my two cats, instead suggesting I spend $185 to sedate my male cat. I offered to hold the cat, & was refused. I went to a different Vet today, Manchaca Village, & they didn’t give up on my cat & he’s now fully vaccinated!
