My cat Toast and I had an amazing experience with Pikes Peak! Every interaction we had with the team, from the initial phone call to schedule an appointment, and throughout the appointment itself was absolutely stellar. When we initially arrived, Toast was clearly anxious from the time spent in the car and in her carrier. One of the gals at the front desk immediately gave us a blanket that she’d sprayed with a calming spray and laid it over the top of her carrier to help ease her anxiety. Then, she took the time to walk us down to the new quiet office, designed specifically with seeing cats and other skittish animals in mind. I can’t express how much it means to know they’re taking every possible action to make this experience as easy and stress-free for both owners and pets as possible. When we went back to the examination room, the tech that worked with us sang endless praises about what a great experience she’s had working with Pikes Peak and the doctors on staff, and how I couldn’t have chosen a better office as Toast’s primary care provider. It really set my mind at ease to hear how they prioritize respecting animals’ boundaries, and won’t force them into any procedure they’re clearly not comfortable with. Both the tech and Dr. Unsell made me feel so heard and reassured, I really felt like they were happy to spend as much time with Toast and I as we needed, and they were so knowledgeable in answering every question I had and giving me recommendations as though she were their own pet. Knowing that they’re so easily accessible through call or text really makes me feel like I made the best choice possible in bringing Toast to see them! Of course I hope not to need to bring her in again any time soon, but I’m so happy and grateful to know the Pikes Peak team is there for us if we ever need them!

Dr. Fowler and Vet Tech Heather were so patient, knowledgeable, and experienced with rabbits! It's clear they really care about helping pet parents provide the best care for their pets. I came away from my visit with some great tips & tricks. I also appreciated a thorough wellness exam, vaccination, and nail trim!

I had to Say "Goodbye to my Dog". The Staff didn't rush me, and Dr. Lay was Excellent. She allowed me as Much time as Needed to Prepare and Let Go.

Update: 2024... PPVC is still an Amazing Place, Great Employees who Always Smile. They will Offer you Water or Soda If you're Thirsty.
The Vet Doctors are All Excellent. They have been Amazing with Cody as well as My Moms 2 Dogs.

10/10... Highly Recommend to Anyone with Dogs, Cats, Birds, Lizards, Snakes and Rabbits.

- Reilly ( The Grey Cat who loved Sleeping in Boxes & seemingly uncomfortable Positions). Initially Rescued by Great People who Found the Her, Her Siblings & Mom Cat Left in a Box out East just off Highway 24. Mom Cat Didn't Survive but Me & and Friend Took 3 of the 6 Kittens as the other 3 were also Found Homes. Age 19 when she Passed Away due to Old Age and Medical Complications.

I recently left the vet medical field after working as a vet tech for a little over 15 years and wanted to find a vet that I felt gave the same quality care I gave my patients. I came to pikes peak because of the great things I had heard about their team and Dr's.
I now bring my my 2 cats and older dog here for all their care. I couldn't recommend PPVC any more than I already do.
Their technical team is knowledgeable and they provide excellent support and care to pet parents and their pets.
The entire vet team is respectful and they are NOT pushy.
If you are looking for a vet team that works well together, and wants the best for your pet, and is also respectful of your wallet, then Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic is where you need to come.
