Muy mal servicio Isabel la peor persona trata muy mal a las personas de la tersera edad y de mi parte esas personas meresen buen trato y meresen respeto me toco verla como les contesta a los enfermos. Optum Primary Care is the worst place to receive medical care or medical attention. I went to get a general physical and was told the checkup was going to be $80 total. I talked about 10 minutes with the doctor and the final price was $275. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed that our city’s health care system allows these thieves to practice. I understand medical bills can be costly, however THIS DOCTOR only asked me questions for 10 minutes and did not give me a medicine and sent me to go get tested at a laboratory all for the lie of $275. In addition, I would have needed to pay the laboratory fees on top of their robbery. I tried to speak to the doctor about this fraudulent bill, and the lady at the front desk denied me inquiry with the doctor. Horrible customer service and zero sincerity. If you value your hard earned money and honesty, then please do NOT come here.

The Dr's at this office are some of the best that I have encountered, unfortunately the staff, from front desk to back office, is some of the worst.

Referrals are always processed incorrectly. You have to tell the Dr what the referral needs to say, then follow up with Maria, the medical assistant that processes them, multiple times just to make sure it it done correctly. She will blame your insurance company for the poor processing. I was under the impression that she was doing all that she could to get my referral processed urgently to see my OB due to spotting early in pregnancy only to find out after I had miscarried that everything had been processed incorrectly. A few months later I had to go through the same process with them except this time I came prepared with ER docs confirming the pregnancy because they weren't going to be able to get me in for at least a month and I had to put on a demanding b*tchy attitude to get the referral processed correctly and urgently.

Appointments are NEVER available for at least a month out and they tell you that you should probably just go to the ER or Urgent Care. They won't have the Dr. call you, if it's not urgent and they say they don't take walk ins even though they have a "Walk-In Sign in Sheet". When you do have an appointment the wait will still be over 2 hours so you might as well walk in when you've got time to spare. I don't recommend going on a lunch break or making any appointments for after. You will be late.

The front desk staff isn't able to answer the simplest of questions such as "how long will it take to you/your office fax the medical record release to your back office for processing?" They will all give you sweet, but fake smiles when speaking to you, then will turn around and talk bad about you in spanish to each other. If you know spanish, I suggest not letting the know you do, just so you can catch them off guard.

If they did a full restaffing of their front and back office, it could potentially be a really good place for your PCP medical needs .

BEWARE! CAUTION! STAY AWAY! RUN! AVOID! WARNING! RED ALERT!!!

I have been going to this doctor's office since March 20, 2012...I have a thing or two to share and to warn future patients.

This doctor's office has changed ownership from Alonso Medical Group to HealthCare Partners Medical Group in the last year+. When HealthCare Partners Medical Group took over, they gave the entire office a face-lift...new decor from the ground up; however, what they didn't change is the quality of the service provided!

Since I have been coming to this doctor's office to current, they are ABSOLUTELY WORST at processing referrals!!! It has nothing to do with your medical provider! You can see the doctor for a referral (i.e. physical therapy) and the doctor would put in for one, but the notes will not transfer to the referral specialist to process it. In fact, I can even make a phone call to the referral lady and she can make a promise to process it AND STILL DROP THE BALL! Let me put this in perspective...my referrals take an average of 1-1.5 months to process...NOT because of my insurance, but because of mistakes! I have been apologized to on numerous occasions. Also, if you make a special request for a referral to be given out to a place of your choosing (within your insurance coverage facilities), forget about this place honoring that request! They will USUALLY refer you by default, to the closest one to your home (which is NOT always the best place). The point is, they don't care to hear your concerns or heart specifically on being referred out to specialists. DON'T expect to get immediate referrals...you are going to wait a month+. So, while you suffer with whatever affliction...it's going to be a waiting game, because this doctor's office drops the ball constantly.

Let's talk about x-rays! Forget it! This doctor's office lost their x-ray technician about 2 years ago AND THEY HAVE NEVER REPLACED HIM! So, you know what that means...a referral out to get an x-ray. You break your leg...your referral will take a long time to process, because this place sits on processing referrals. My wife also has been coming here. She was referred for physical therapy to an establishment that was not her primary physical therapist that she has been seeing through her insurance. I called to have the address changed of the approved referral...that was several months ago and I have gotten nothing but the runaround on that!

How about their doctors? I do love the doctors and they are very thorough with you. I have never been treated like another number with them. I saw Fernando Torres for a number of years and then all of a sudden without my knowledge and permission, this doctor's office changed my primary doctor to Jorge Wecer, BUT I found Dr. Wecer to be better then Dr. Torres...so that was okay.

Wait times are usually 1-2 hours...my wife has waited 3 hours once. Shoot for the latest possible appointment which will yield the least amount of wait time. To be honest, I would NEVER choose this place for a doctor's office...too many mistakes...too long of a wait to get the referrals you need. In the medical field, EVERYTHING gets referred out. So, you are sick, have a broken bone, need an MRI, etc. etc. etc....EXPECT to wait a LONG time for your referral to come in, due to clerical issues and slow processing!

Another thing I want to add...primarily, this doctor's office does NOT answer their own phones...they have their HealthCare Partners Medical Group call center answer them for them. That call center is very rude and nasty...I have had 2-3 nasty encounters with them! If you want to reach the doctor's office directly...push #5 when prompt, then #3 when the second recording comes on...that will take you directly to this office.

Why do I stay? Because I have a long relationship with Dr. Wecer and he treats me with the utmost respect, dignity, and honor. Dr. Wecer is the ONLY reason I stay, but because of the constant mistakes by this doctor's office, I believe that I will be moving on in the near future.

This is the worst experience that I ever had. I have a appointment with Dr. Oregel. When I came in, they told me he is not here today. They CANCEL all appointments without notification. I received text message to remind me the appointment even yesterday! Plus they have two locations. I went to the 14600 first, they told me I went into the wrong place. Then I came to 15216 Vanowen, they told me the appointment is cancel. I DO NOT receive Any call or message to cancel the appointment until I stepped in 15216 Vanowe, not even when I went into 14600 sherman way. Worst experience ever.

BEWARE....my vulnerable elderly mother received a call asking for her personal and insurance information to set her up as a new patient. We NEVER called them and we don't know how they obtained her number!!! Hopefully, I hung up on them before she gave them any info!!

Yesterday I showed up with my wife because she had stomach upset and diarrhea, they didn't do anything and diagnosed her as possible covid without even having proof or taking a sample. They sent us to urgent care across the street that didn't help at all. They are careless of people.

Absolutely the worst people to talk over the phone about making an appointment they make you feel like you're not worth anything. You are better off going to any other clinic than this poor Medical Group.
