Super especial el personal que trabaja allí fui por una emergencia con mi Hanna que por accidente comio donas de chocolate y gracias a la super atención que le dieron a mi perrita todo salio bien muy amables y super profesionales a pesar de que me inglés no es perfecto ? ellos me ayudaron y me tradujeron todo y hasta me buscaron una muchacha que hablaba español. Super agradecida con el equipo de trabajo en especial con la muchacha joven de la recepción muy amable y cariñosa miles gracias Dios bendiga a todos los que trabajan en ese lugar se ve que aman a los animales.

After having my dog back and forth at the vet on fluids for days and no change. I took him to the horrendous Advanced Animal Care Er in Richmond where I was told to euthanize him without them even looking at him!! Thankfully I was able to get my vet on the phone once the office opened and she told me to take him to Metro. It was 1.5 hour drive but with it Upon arrival they took me and my dog straight in. Enzo needed to see Dr. Daley the internist due to his several medical issues. The entire staff were very Helmand compassionate. They were completely open and upfront about the costs. Dr. Kaufman is above and beyond and she was absolutely amazing during his entire four days stay. At no point did they try to push any procedures on me. They were so nice anytime I called and even when I went to visit and then took him home the technicians were great! They truly helped Enzo and if it weren’t for them I don’t know if he would be doing as well as he is. I can’t thank them enough!

The surgery team is no joke! They had our pup in surgery in about an hour, maybe less, from the time he came in the door. We received updates from the actual surgeon daily while he was hospitalized. We visited him a few times over the four days he stayed. Every time we walked in, there was no hassle. Everyone on the front desk was reassuring and nice. If you are reading this, I highly recommend this hospital for your animals. It's not the cheapest but the best help you're going to get.

On vacation, my dog had endured an accident that was completely out of anyone’s control. We were seen by Monica king and I swear I hope she finds a compassionate bone in her body when she tells y’all it’s 6-10k for surgery or your dog could die from IVDD within 48 hours.

My copper came in completely immmobile, he left the same way. $730 later, we were told he may not make it because his “possible” slipped disc or tumor may be in his neck. And that he needed surgery. Well I can’t afford that now and Monica kings attitude completely changed and became almost sarcastically sympathetic to my situation but made me feel super guilty for opting out of the surgery. I will never ever return here and I will make sure my baby walks again.

Called for an issue with my dog’s eye as my vet couldn’t get us in for 3 week. Was told to come in right away. On the phone, they explained they have a consulting eye vet they work with. No discussion about money was had. I drive there and once inside, a different receptionist asks nothing about how my dog is doing and begins with “I hope they told you before you came here that upfront cost is $800-1200 to be seen in addition to any treatment that is needed.” I agree, emergency services are expensive, no problem. I was told since my dog is stable and there were no exam rooms available, I needed to go sit in my car with my dog and await a phone call. I really didn’t like the interaction. There was no concern or even feigned kindness for us. I returned to my car, found another emergency service, got my dog taken care of and we are back home. She is out of pain and resting, but on five new medications and QID eye drops to save her eye. I just got a call from Metropolitan to come inside. 3.5 hours later. I know healthcare is stretched. I know this well as a physician. But no need to treat people and their beloved pets like this. I was fortunate enough to have an option to seek care elsewhere.

The staff here are amazing. A very clean, impressive, knowledgeable hospital. They took great care of our cat and his surgery site looks amazing! They were worth the 1&1/2 hour drive there. I don't believe you'll be disappointed. Dr. Neat was so wonderful about explaining my cat's procedure and made sure I understood. To the vet tech when I was picking him up from. They were so wonderful, and I can't thank them enough for their job well done. Thanks to you all our baby boy is healing great, and thanks to our veterinarian for the recommendation!! (The pics of him without his surgery cone are only because I was near to watch that he didn't lick his incision)
