We had to go to Intermountain Pet Hospital twice in the last week with emergencies with our sweet orange tabby. We weren’t established patients- and they welcomed us with opened arms- they took such good care of us- and gave us a comforting peaceful experience as our cat crossed the rainbow bridge… I am so grateful for their expertise (Dr. Hadley was wonderful) and the staff were wonderful too. I am so grateful I found Dr. Hunt and Intermountain Pet Hospital. My German Shephard Dog Koda had a bad experience at a previous vet when he was a puppy and it has made him very difficult to exam and treat for all vets. Dr. Hunt and his assistant examined Koda and treated his ear infection in the back of my vehicle to accommodate his fear. On another visit, when Koda had a run in with a porcupine, Dr. Hunt sedated Koda in my vehicle before they carried him inside to remove the quills. Dr. Hunt is always so calm and explains everything in detail.

Thank you for being so understanding, I appreciate it more than you know.

I brought my dog in for a hurt paw, I have to say I ADORE Dr.Lynch she was so amazing with my anxiety reactive dog.
I have never seen my dog so calm at a vet office. He was giving her little kisses, going up to her for pets, and even laid down while we talked.
She gave me very reasonable options but suggested the option that benefited my dog having a positive experience instead of causing anxiety.
She will be the only vet I will go to, very positive, kind, and took the time to look at everything I was concerned about. She really shows she loves what she does.

Love this vet clinic. We’ve been taking our pup for years and have recommended several friends. They are super helpful with vaccine and regular check up reminders but never pushy. Also took care of our pup during an urgent, complicated surgery that required frequent follow up and ongoing care. Highly recommend.

My pup is being treated for a really bad UTI. I’ve been working with Dr. Hunt at the Overland location. He has been very thoughtful and thorough in his approach. He is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner. He is always engaging and kind. He even called me on a weekend that he wasn’t working to give me lab results. He has answered every one of my dumb questions with grace and kindness.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5, is because the pharmacist who gave me the medication doesn’t seem to like her job. She was incredibly rude from the moment I approached the counter. No smile and no pleasant greeting, just an aggressive, “It’s going to be a minute”. Then, when she was ready to engage with me, there was no eye contact, just a single word “name”. All of the other staff were friendly, accommodating, and engaging.

I highly recommend Dr. Hunt. Hopefully you won’t need any prescriptions.
