I had an appointment for my dog to look at his ears a few days ago. The only time they could get him in was 4:30 which is not a time you want to be in traffic in a city like this. I left my house early, but the traffic was horrible due to an additional accident. I called the hospital and left a message that we would be about 5 minutes late. When we arrived at 4:35 there was a line to the front desk. We waited for 10 minutes in the line before they called us up. The assistant came from the back, I'm assuming from a break. When she called us up she informed us that my dog could not be seen because we were late and the nurse came out and called us at 4:40 and no one answered. At that time we were in the line. I stated I heard no one call anyone in at that time. Which by the way she could not have known because she was not there. In a disrespectful tone she said, "Well, I disagree with you!" At that point, I told her we would be looking for another vet office with more respectful assistants. With the same tone, she asked if I wanted my dog's records. I would understand if I would have gotten there at 4:45, but I was there at 4:35 and left a message. On top of her attitude, this was the 2nd time she had been rude to me in the last 2 months. I can't remember her name or I would share it. I know she sits at the back of the desk and is slightly chubby, that is just a description, not a criticism. I would recommend being 15 minutes early to this place and not going to the woman at the back of the desk on the left.

They truly care and take wonderful care of our pets. We have seen them for regular vet visits/ exams, as well as end-of-life care. The staff is knowledgeable and kind and the prices are very reasonable.

The staff is patient and thoughtful. They have always treated my pets and me with kindness and genuine concern. Unfortunately, when I go there it's usually to have one of my elderly or sick rats put to sleep. They offer the service at a more cost effective fee than anyone else I have found in Boise. I appreciate the work they do and I recommend them.

YOU PRESCRIBED MY CAT EXPIRED EAR DROPS AND COSTED ME AN URGENT CARE TRIP. I want my money back. You’re lucky I don’t sue for how much this has costed me. I brought him in 8-22-2024, and the drops expired 03-24. Were the vaccines expired? I only wonder how many other pets were affected.

If I'm being honest, this place is terrible and needs help. They're beyond "understaffed" all the time, although they have multiple techs and different ones every time i go in. They're typically way over scheduled and the front desk is always swamped. I just recently had surgery done on my kitten's broken femur and Dr. Rosenthal (thankfully) squeeeezed us in on a day before leaving town for 3 WEEKS, but have to schedule with him PERSONALLY through EMAIL..so no post operation check ups or anything. It was like pulling teeyh getting in to have stitches removed afterwards as a WALK IN. Showed up at 3pm when they started taking walk ins and didn't leave until almost 6pm when they closed. Waited almost 3 hrs for them to take 20 seconds to remove stitches. Not sure why when ppl walking in for shots came n left hours before i mentioned how long I'd been sitting there...TWICE. Do not let this happen to you, be vocal. Typically ppl here are very nice, but very unorganized. My kitten is healing fairly well from surgery but still not using his leg and it's been about a month. Honestly they are good for your pocket but if you can afford it and love your pet-- get a regular Veterinarian and insurance.
