I brought my blue diamond dove in after another vet failed to properly diagnose him. He was distraught, I was distraught and thought I was going to have to euthanize him.
They were very accommodating with scheduling.
And I felt immediately relieved as the doctor gave him a thorough exam and explanation of her findings. She did a quick gram stain that showed he had a bacterial infection and sent us home with antibiotics. Boom. Problem solved.
Wish I'd come here first! It's a long drive for us from Bounder County, but I won't go anywhere else in the future. This doctor clearly knows what she's doing.
If you have an exotic pet, its so important to take them to someone qualified! And the prices are totally reasonable. I'm feeling so thankful right now for this doctor!

We love Homestead! The staff is always friendly and professional. The parking lot is often full, but they always take us right away. I honestly don’t think we have ever had to wait more than five minutes. Dr. Joseph is always so kind and gentle with our dogs. I can’t say they enjoy going to the vet, but they love Dr. Joseph. And he always takes the time to address any questions or concerns we have. There are other animal hospitals closer to us, but Homestead is worth the drive.

My first experience as a pet owner taking my sugar glider to a vet for an emergency. The staff was amazing, caring, knowledgeable, and attentive. can't say enough good things about my recent experience with Homestead Animal Hospital. They were able to get my Frenchie in for an appointment on a Saturday, which was a huge relief.
