So happy to find this vet clinic right by my house. Everyone is super nice, and Dr Olson was amazing. My wife and I are excited to have them be our care providers for our two new baby girls.

I took my daughter's dog to this clinic because it was near our home and it was the worst mistake ever. The people are rude as hell and I find it funny that the lady at the front desk was very dry and crass with me but not the other lady that walked in. Can you guess what the difference is? Save your time and your money and take your pet to Hannah where you and your pet will be treated respectfully.

Rachel and the other front desk people were very patient and kind and helpful for me with my dog ghost stuff and I really appreciate it. I know sometimes I come in and ask questions that seems silly to them but Rachel was very kind and patient with me and I really appreciate that so much. The doctor is wonderful. The clinics services really great. We transfer from another place that sold out after years and years of going there and my mom used to come to Halsey East animal Clinic years ago so we decided to come back. My husband was with that other clinic and I married into that. So again thank you. You guys are a terrific

Had my dog neutered and discussed a previous bladder stones issue with a tech name Sarah.she owns a ultra sound machine used at the practice. She said she would call me in a few months to have me bring Abel in to do another ultra sound to check his bladder. I asked her how much and she said $75. No appointment needed, she would call me. I got a voicemail from Crystal saying they could work Abel in between procedures on 5/15, could we drop him off and they would call when he was done. I called back and confirmed and asked if she could look to see if I was getting his ears clean and if not as a tech..could they clean the? I know they charge for that but I really didn't think they would need to. He's a new dog to me and I wasn't sure if I was getting them clean. My husband dropped him off at 8:00 in the morning knowing that he was just dropping him off and that I had done all the talking with the office. I expected to pay $75 and if there was a charge to clean his ears, if they needed to clean his ears that would be extra. To my surprise when I went back to pick him up, $340.50. This is something that was supposed to cost me $75. They charged me $78.50 for an exam $53 for an ear cleaning, 7450 for urinalysis, $49.50 for a hospital stay, and $85 for the ultrasound. When I asked them why I was paying so much they waved a piece of paper in front of my face with my husband's signature on it and told me your husband signed this. He had no idea the conversation I had with Sarah about the $75. I do not believe they handled this correctly. When I questioned it they were not the least bit interested. Had I known they were going to charge me to leave Abel there I would have stayed there with him. If I had known that they were going to have a vet come and clean his ears so they could charge me the $78.50 physical exam I would have opted not to do that. I can't go there anymore. I've been taking animals there since the original Dr Vockert was there in the late 80s. When I moved back to the Portland area and got a dog in 2016 I started taking her there. When all was said and done I was told that the vet Dr vidas, would be calling me in a few days after a radiologist read the ultrasound. I never got that call. At this point I'm kind of glad they didn't call because I would have given them a piece of my mind. I plan to go to the office to get a copy of all of Abel's records and take them to a new vet.

We live nearby, so we use it a lot for our dog. They prove a pretty good service but ... It's expensive: $70 for fecal testing, and they do curbside service only (i.e. they do everything from the parking lot). They have a day care service, but we've never used it since the dogs are kenneled.

I’m very, very happy with both the customer service and veterinary service at Halsey East. They are incredibly professional while still being friendly! I was very pleased with how they handled my dogs neuter ie the high quality, up-to-date medical care that they clearly provide, their thoroughness and even how he looked and behaved when I picked him up (not upset, or disheveled).
I am always happy to do whatever is best for my pets, but I also have a lot of questions and want to understand why/what we’re doing and hear about the different options. I have never felt like I was annoying any of the techs, or the doctor with my questions which is honestly so refreshing!
I’m looking forward to bringing my new kitten here and my pup for many years to come!

It was time to let go of one of my old lady kittens. This was the BEST of these experiences one can have! Andrea was wonderful!
Halsey East Animal Clinic set up an area that was soft, less clinical. And they insisted on deferring payment after the medication was given and she was gone.
Andrea. Better than wonderful. Thank you.
Good bye sweet Skelly. Beautiful girl.
