There was not only a lack of understanding but also a lack even caring from Dr Reddy. He’d rather look at his computer while talking to you rather than form any relationship with the patient. It’s obvious that he doesn’t want to be there. His front office has been horrible for many years. They bill incorrectly and argue with you about it. They rarely give the dr a message and have never expressed compassion or even made eye contact or smiled.

I really want to give 5 stars because I respect and trust Dr Reddy, but his office staff in Visalia is absolutely horrible. Completely unsympathetic to your concerns and just flat out rude. I’ve had several run ins with them and have kept quiet but no more. It’s not fair to us patients to be treated so unprofessionally. Dr Reddy’s patients are dealing with some serious mental health issues and when you call in with a concern or question and get brushed off with an attitude it’s infuriating and makes your anxiety a million times worse. Not to mention trying to request to speak with the Dr about a concern. Ha! It’s absolutely impossible. It would be easier for me to try and reach the Vice President than getting through to Dr Reddy.
Serious change of office staff is needed.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Reddy’s for years both at his private office as well as the Tulare FHC office. He also sees other family members of mine. Dr Reddy has consistently advocated for me, educated me on my diagnoses, and reassured me when I needed it. He’s very honest and respectful. Dr Reddy is an invaluable resource and I truly feel he has helped me improve my life for the better.

However, his staff at this office is so much worse than at his private office. I imagine that’s family healthcare networks issue. The “medical assistants” that work at the Tulare office are consistently underprepared, unprofessional, and worst of all rude. I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 years and have worked in healthcare for the last several years. I would never in my life treat customers/patients the way this staff has treated me. They say they’ll do something, it never gets done. They say they’ll call me, I never hear from them. I have to call several times, speak to multiple people, nobody ever documents anything in my account/chart even when I have asked nicely over and over again. When I have questions they act like I’m bothering them (as if my healthcare isn’t their job that they get paid for), they are condescending, never apologize even when they are at fault, never communicate with each other so I often have to explain myself over and over again to every new person I talk to. It’s exhausting. Dr Reddy is a mental health provider and works hard to care for and treat his patients’ mental health. The Tulare medical assistants, especially the last one I spoke with today, actively work to make your mental health worse.

Dr Reddy is one of the best if not the best child psychologist I’ve met . My son went through the entire county programs for years with no assessment and treatment pushing him to be suicidal at 8 yrs old . Dr Reddy on our first visit made a difference in my sons life and till this day my son says,” if it wasn’t for Dr Reddy I wouldn't be alive . “ being the parent of a child that suffers mental health means psycho educating yourself as a parent to better understand your child’s condition. You are the expert of your child and your expertise can help your CHILDS DR better understand. The progress and process becomes a team effort. Dr Reddy is amazing and if you don’t believe it I’m sure you still have problems understanding your child and the process. There is no magic pill, only magic parents that advocate and change their life to make their child’s better !

Unprofessional, open ended question ,“ why are you here”? And ...and ? “Why do you think you have that diagnose !”what else ! Dr.Prasad V. Reddy doesn’t make an effort to build a rapport with patient. I don’t understand how he has patients if that ! Or yet alone have 2 locations that he practices.Looking at his computer not making eye contact, was completely a wast of time and copay !!! I’m disgusted by ones actions and is licensed by the board.

I enjoy reading the reviews about this man. I've had issues with PTSD and severe depression and thoughts of suicide and I've been overcome them with Dr. Reddy's guidance. Honestly I think most of the people's negative reviews are arrogantly stated. 🙂
