Never in my life have I had a doctor as amazing as Dr. Priscilla Thomas. The amount of care that she has for her patients is everything one can hope for in a doctor. I’ve had many docs throughout my life given my health issues and none compare. She took her time making sure I understood everything she was doing, eased my nerves with her knowledge and comforted me with her wonderful bedside manners. Thank you for your care Dr. Thomas.

Dr Tirone was one of the rudest people I've ever met. He doesn't listen to patients problems or concerns, and then explodes on hospital staff when he doesn't get his way. The surgery he did for me resulted in 3 infections, a 2nd surgery, 7 trips to the ER and 29 days admitted to the hospital to treat the infections. I've developed a hernia at the surgical site and been to 8 surgeons now that do not believe they can repair the amount of damage it's caused. The only nice people in the office were a few of the nursing staff. I would never refer or return to this office. I even avoid Morton Plant Hospital fearing any of these surgeons to be consulted on any issues I may have. ZERO STARS

No one likes to go to the ER. The horror stories you hear are atrocious. Today, however, I want to tell you about this surgeon that I had. She was straight to the point, professional, and compassionate. She explained everything very clearly and was very considerate. She saved my leg let alone my life. Dr. Valerie Stewart was very thorough and sincere about my dire situation. She chose to do surgery same day even though it was 11 pm on a Sunday. If she had not done that I would not be here today. She was on top of everything and I could not have been more pleased. She is definitely someone I will think of from time to time and choke back tears of gratitude. She went above and beyond what I have ever seen another doctor do. Come on, surgery same-day at 11pm on a Sunday! She is recommended highly by me and everyone who witnessed her coming by daily to check on me in the hospital. I went through 3 surgeries in 5 days, this infection was resilient. But through proper medication the infection finally began receding and the battle was won! Thank you so much Dr Stewart. You saved my life and saved my family alot of heartache. This young woman is an absolute pleasure to deal with! Thank you again.

I just went in for my first surgery yesterday. I double hernia repair. Dr. Stewart and the rest of the staff of been fantastic. I was really scared to have surgery and they walked me through it and made it very easy. They’ve also been there step-by-step to help me with my recovery.

Dr. Erickson has been amazing through this entire process. I write this review as my fiancé sits in the hospital (alone, because of COVID-19). My fiancé had his first surgery with Dr. Erickson in March and has had 2 more since then to repair his mesh, and later to remove it. Dr. Erickson takes the time to explain what he wants to do, the results he strives for and how he expects to get there. We remain well informed through the process and for that I am forever grateful for him. He has aloud me to have my fiancé back. We are optimistic for a future without anymore surgeries, and for that we thank Dr. Erickson and the power of The Lord and prayer!

I had intestine work performed by Dr. Kurt Erickson, and I must say he was awesome. He was very attentive and thorough, before, during and after my surgery. I am so pleased with him. Best medical experience of my life. Totally met my expectations.

A recent revisit has made me reconsider my old rating. When a patient feels that the doctors does not embrace the oath they took, maybe a reminder and a rating would help.

I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:...

I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.

I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures which are required, avoiding those twin traps of over treatment and therapeutic nihilism.

I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.

I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. Above all, I must not play at God.

I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.

I will prevent disease whenever I can but I will always look for a path to a cure for all diseases.

I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.

If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.
