There are so many red flags with this so called "homeopathic" vet. Where to begin...I consulted her about performing stem cell therapy on my dog to try and repair extensive damage to the tendons in his toes (LONG story). Upon our initial and only visit, she tried to dissuade me from feeding him a raw diet, even though she never once asked me what it consisted of, expressed discontent with his intact status, said his prostate was enlarged, his thyroid was low and that he possibly had Ricketts. No legitimate homeopathic vet will ever discourage raw feeding when done properly, as well as leaving an animals sex hormones intact. Did I mention I was there for a consult regarding stem cell therapy? My dog is a sighthound, and their thyroid runs low, so he's actually fine. Regarding his intact status, there are a few different reasons with the most obvious being his inability to exercise due to the condition of his feet!!! Added weight from a neutered status would only exacerbate his condition!!! His prostate was recently checked by a legitimate veterinarian who says his prostate is the size she would expect it to be for an intact male, and that he's fine. Imagine that. I have never written a negative review for a veterinarian, and I have seen many in my lifetime. All I can say about Dr. German is go at your animals own risk, and then get a second opinion. I've never experienced incompetence like hers.

Dr. German has seen our pets (dogs and cats) for over 10 years now. I appreciate the genuine compassion and desire to help she's had when caring for them whether they've been routine, complex, or urgent needs. She's been willing to research unusual things to help find a solution when the need has arisen, and has made time in her day to see a pet when we've had an unexpected scare (even though I know she didn't have an open appointment slot). I trust her with our pets and would recommend her without hesitation.

Edit: If animals could have hippa rights, this owner responding would definitely be violating it. We arrived to the clinic during their hours, and the doors were locked and no one was at the desk. This is the only Animal health hospital that starts with an A in boise sooo.

Don't even bother showing up, brought our cat and they had the doors locked 40min before closed. DONT LIE ABOUT YOUR HOURS

BEST vet and crew in Boise! I take all my pets to her. Dr. German has been our family veterinarian for about 15 years now and she takes very good care of them. Affordable prices and knowledgeable staff! I always recommend them my friends and family.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I just called this place, and have to tell you that they are incredible rude and unprofessional. I called and talked to Patty, asked for a quote on getting my dog neutered, and she advised me that there was a $5 new client fee. I thought that was a bit ridiculous and questioned her on it, and then told her that I probably would not be interested. Immediately, she hung up on me. Then I called back to talk to office manager, she told me that she wasn't there and was out to lunch. Get this, she hung up on me again. Then I called back again, and Jennifer ( who Claimed to be Office Manager) picked up the phone, and said that she was in a meeting and not out to lunch. Told her what happen, and she didn't seem really to care. Didn't even apologize for the way I was treated. Companies that treat potential clients like this should not be in business at all!
