3 words: Incompetent, Overpriced, & Unprofessional.

I took my cat there twice because of the symptoms he was showing (e.g., not eating alot). They checked him over both times and said nothing was wrong. Specifically, they looked in his mouth for anything wrong. A couple months later, I took him to another vet (Alamitos Animal Hospital - 5/5). They looked in his mouth and immediately knew what was wrong with him. They said he had cancer. It could have been delt with a couple of months earlier. These people are really cruel because either they knew he had cancer and lied or were completely incompetent. There really aren't any other options. He has now passed away and it is my loss, and I have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. I know I should have taken him to another vet., but I trusted their 'professional' opinion. At the end of the day, I am not the one with a professional degree and a license as a veterinarian. That's what I am paying for, which is way more expensive than the place I go now (Alamitos Animal Hospital). I would like it if they, at a minimum, lost their licenses and never did business again.

Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend going here.

Took my kitten to the vet the staff at the desk are argumentative and don’t know much about anything. The doctor denied my kitten prescription talking about no vet client relationship or something like that. Which is ridiculous cause he gave the prescription and doesn’t want to give medication for fleas. Very over priced the vca my care is a scam to get more $$$$$. I don’t have really anything nice to say. Cat had diarrhea and the stuff he prescribed didn’t work at all. End up researching and found some stuff on Amazon that worked 10x better than the crap he gave me. Choose another vca cause this one SUCKS UNPROFESSIONAL IS A UNDERSTATEMENT

THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!! They can't even redo a service that they didn't do correctly for both my dogs and instead give the run around about passing the matter over to different supervisors and different doctors. This place stinks and the staff stinks worse. Bunch of incompetents acting like professionals, not to mention they charge at least double what other vets charge!! Only went here for a standard procedure and experienced complete ridiculous behavior and stonewalling from the staff. CLOWNS.

Dr. Cooper was super professional and took excellent care of my cattle dog. She’s known to be a bit “nippy” as they naturally are. She responded super well to he’s calm demeanor. We will be back soon for blood work and a spay. (:

Everyone from the front desk to the the Veterinarians are very helpful and caring. My girls have been visiting there since they were puppies from the same litter, after almost 15 years, we now only have one girl but she has never showed any hesitation when visiting VCA Rossmoor-El Dorado. They really take pride in taking care of our animals.

As you can tell from my pug's face, Brutus feels very comfortable here. The staff & Dr. Hartwick are very thorough with what is going to be done with Brutus & answers questions I have during our visits. His professional demeanor is always there, which is why I highly recommend Dr. Hartwick & this VCA. Please keep up the great job!
