We traveled 3 hours to have the best care imaginable by Dr. Amber and the caring staff. The whole process was smooth and I was kept informed throughout the day. Cody had bilateral tplo surgery. They understand how the process affects the humans as well as their patients and answered all of my questions and provided me with all the information I needed. I appreciate the invitation to call anytime with concerns or questions if they arise. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. We were home by early evening as Cody's healing was already underway. Thank you!

I drove 2.5 hours just so Dr Randy Acker could do the TPLO on my cattle dog. I enjoyed meeting with him pre- and post-surgery. He explained everything in perfect detail and answered everyone of my questions. Dr Acker, Denise (his surgery tech) and front office staff went above and beyond to make my dog and myself comfortable on a stressful day. The surgery was a complete success and my dog is recovering well. I can highly recommend Dr Randy Acker for your orthopedic pet needs!

Dr. Tobias is amazing. He is very thorough, he cares, he explains everything so well, his bedside manner is just beyond what I’ve met in any veterinarian. I have every confidence in him and would recommend him to everyone! Also, I’d like to add that the staff at the Sun Valley Animal Center are great! I was there for a serious situation but witnessed lots of people dropping off their babies for daycare or boarding and the animals were all so excited to be there and play with their friends. The staff truly loves and cares about all the animals that come in. I love 2 hours and 45 minutes away and I’m considering making SVAC my main vet.

We are so appreciative of our visit with Dr Tobias. Our dog presented with front limb lameness. He quickly and accurately assessed her issue and we walked away with an action plan that has already returned her to near normal activity. He spent a great deal of time with us explaining everything with various treatment options. He is kind and caring. Likewise, his assistant Trina, was equally warm and engaging. She followed up with us by phone a couple days later to see how things were going. I think our medical system could learn a couple of things from how Sun Valley Animal Center operates. Kudos!

Last Saturday we had to take our year and a half old lab mix in for a TPLO surgery. When going in I was extremely anxious as the vet in my hometown hadn’t really helped us to understand the surgery we were going in for and weren’t very supportive for the 3 months of injury prior to surgery. Dr. Tobias went ABOVE and BEYOND for us and our pup. He was so thorough and comforting. He truly cares about every person and animal that walks into that clinic. His work is EXCEPTIONAL and our girl is recovering very well. Thank you for making a not so fun situation a whole lot easier. Thank you for helping us understand the surgery and after care in depth. We will only be taking our girl to him for any surgeries or serious treatments!

I wish I could move to Sun Valley just to have the best care ever for my dogs, at Sun Valley animal hospital in Ketchum. My 6 yr old Golden Ginni has had 2 hip replacements and an ACL all by Dr. Randy. Her recoveries have been amazing. she is running and playing like she so deserves! Don't hesitate to make the best decision for pup!
