I took my dog to urgent care with vague symptoms that started that day. Everything was prompt, the providers laid out all the diagnostic and treatment options to me with explicit pricing. They found that he was in an Addisonian crisis with the very first test. Everyone was so sweet to him and were patient with me and all of my endless questions. They were very concerned with my subjective observations. They gave me a clear understanding of the path forward and when I got to take him home, called daily to check in. Truly amazing and trustworthy care. The only down side is they are more expensive than my local vet.

The Doctors and Techs here go above and beyond for you and the pets that you love! Me and my wife brought our 1 year old dog (Fern) in on the grounds that there was blood in her stool/vomit (very scary situation). After waiting, the doctor was kind enough to tell me everything they had planned to do and even gave me pricing BEFORE they proceeded (which vets will almost never do). They sent us home with Fern and now she’s doing great! Also, the prices here really aren’t bad at all for an Emergency vet.

The U is Very expensive. After two visits there medical team could not find the problem. Their $8000 quote for exploratory surgery left me hopeless. I ended up going to Cannon Valley Vet . At less then 1/2 the cost my dog recieved after hours emergency surgery with success. Most inner city Vets are to expensive. It worth shopping surrounding communities.

Our Pepé was the best little guy we’ve ever had the joy of raising. He had so much kindness and liveliness packed in his five pound body. He did however, also pack quite a few health problems as well. Thanks to the phenomenal team, we were able to get a few extra years with him before his passing, managing his seizures and IBD well. We also received phenomenal end of life care for him as well when he developed liver problems that didn’t take to treatment. He passed in early October and he is missed every day. Thank you for doing your best to give us extra days and keeping him in comfort until the end.

This facility has amazing staff and I couldn’t recommend them enough. I brought my horse to them in the middle of the night and they were compassionate, caring, patient, and knowledgeable. I never once felt like a burden and I was not even a previous client of theirs. These vets and students are amazing and I’m thankful they were available to see my horse. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Elizabeth, Dana, Brianna, and any other staff that was there for me and our horse, Malibu.

After he was discharged, you didn’t even bother to call back to check on his condition, which was really concerning. It felt like you didn’t care about his well-being at all. On top of that, we were charged a crazy amount for a lack of services. We paid thousands of dollars, and the care we received was far from what was promised. We expected thorough follow-up and genuine concern for his recovery, but instead, we got silence and a hefty bill. How about providing the care and attention we paid for and ensuring that this doesn’t happen to other clients in the future?

My friend had a very distressing experience with Dr. Mills. While he was kind and attentive during the surgery, he became completely unresponsive afterward when her dog developed complications. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, he wouldn't call back. Sadly, my friend had to put her dog down due to the lack of post-surgery care. I would not recommend this vet to anyone.

i’m very disappointed with my recent experience at your clinic. My dog, who had IVDD, underwent a spinal tap and MRI. Initially, you were very responsive to my calls, but then you were unavailable and I received no further updates or assistance. These procedures were invasive and costly, and I’m upset about the lack of communication and transparency regarding my dog's prognosis. My Dr. was very responsive when he was in the ICU but after he was released there was zero care in the updates with how he was doing. It feels like they took advantage of the extent I was wanting to care of my pup. Since you wouldn’t reply, I had to take matters into my own hands and seek advice from different vets who were not trained to the extent UofM was. I would like to understand why these tests were recommended and discuss how we can resolve this issue. It breaks my heart at the fact I heard “ask your normal vet about medication management”.
If you’d like to reach out, feel free. I have documents of the 15 times i called and received ZERO input and/or advice.
