I feel confident bringing our rescue here because they are patient while he takes time to warm up and they want what’s best. They also refer out if they know a better option for your pup, showing they aren’t just about the money like some vets!

I wanted to share my amazing experience I had during my annual check up visit. Mrs. Alexandra Allen was above and beyond with taking care of my pet. She made sure was everything done perfectly and educated me and advised how better taking care of my pet, to continue healthy life. I am so glad I had opportunity that my pet was under her care. We have been taking our Blue and Gold Macaw to a veterinarian in Lakeland for 8 years. (I will not name)Very unsatisfied with them so we gave Valrico a chance. We have had three pairs of beagles since 1991--all living happy lives, always pampered, and always provided with the BEST medical care we could find. Now we have April and Banjo, just 8 weeks old. So, we looked around carefully and found Valrico Animal Clinic. It was very easy to get new-puppy appointments, and they were ready for us when we arrived. The office/facility is nicely designed, and the front desk staff and techs were very friendly and efficient, and seemed as excited about April and Banjo as we are! The techs took vitals and recorded any/all concerns, and we met with Dr. Rivera (one of several impressive veterinarians) soon after. She and others gave great advice, were very professional...and the puppies seemed very comfortable (as did we!) throughout our visit. We got the important Dr's notes for our insurance filing later the same day! We are very pleased with plans to take our puppies to Valrico Animal Clinic for the long haul. Oh, and the boarding is a SUPER asset because it is important to us to have our actual vet staff available if something happens while we are gone and they are boarded. Thanks so much to Dr. Rivera and all of the kind folks there! See you soon!

We have already recommended Valrico Animal Clinic to friends. Our visit last are always a great and caring experience for my dog and myself. Dr Gonzalez was thorough and knowledgeable. Chianti is feeling so much better. The entire Staff is terrific, especially Cristina! The medical notes and invoices are as required for most insurance. Thank you! We are now regulars! Our AKC Beagles, Smokey & Chianti, will be 4 in February 2025 and continue to be excellent health.

My husband and I went to Valrico Animal Clinic on 9/29/23, totally expecting to have to put our beloved 15-year-old Sarge to sleep in order to relieve his pain. Both of us were immensely devastated, as we have raised him since he was a puppy rescued from NC. We spoke all night and decided we wanted the vet to do whatever was needed to help us make the right choice, no matter the cost, to ensure it was his time and get additional advice. We have trusted them with Sarge's annual exams for several years.

The kindest vet tech carried our 47-pound "baby" of ours to the back for some new x-rays. The vet came in and, as usual, got right down on the floor with Sarge to examine him thoroughly with great care. Afterwards, she went over his x-rays in tremendous detail, from how healthy his heart looked to exactly where his pain was targeted. Not once did we feel rushed; no question went unanswered, and we were offered great suggestions for his care. Every single thing we had been doing was on point; he just needed some medication to relieve his bad back.

It was such a huge relief to hear that Sarge's pain could easily be managed, and even at the ripe old age of 15 (over 100 in human years), he was still in excellent health in every other way, minus his back arthritis and mild hip arthritis.

I'm so glad that we have trusted Valrico Animal Clinic with the health of Sarge for the past several years. I simply cannot convey how grateful we are to have access to such an amazing staff of loving, caring individuals. I want to thank every single person at Valrico Animal Clinic, from the front staff, the techs, the veterinarian, and all the other people I'm sure we don't see. Every single person who works there makes a difference, not only to us humans but also to the animals that own them. Yes, you read that last part right.

Sarge's kitty companions are also thrilled.
