My young greyhound is experiencing some confusing & concerning spine issues. At a loss for next steps, I called 32 vet clinics just to make sure I fully explore all options to choose the most cost-effective route for treatment. I have yet to visit this clinic, however, if symptoms don’t improve through less-intensive options they are my number one next step. The customer service I received was absolutely exceptional- they took time to give me a detailed and accurate depiction of treatment & pricing. They showed empathic authentic concern, and even followed up with me next-day on a supplement inquiry. I had to speak towards this, thank you for caring!

Dr. Q and her amazing staff got my dog Kozmo in with no notice when we were returning from a camping trip where he tore a deep gash in is right leg. The courtesy to work him in late in the afternoon, provide such amazing care, clean him up and staple the wound got us all home safe and sound! Dr Q. also set us up with a cone-of-shame, antibiotics, probiotics, and pain relievers. Kozmo is doing GREAT, he's getting used to the cone and the wound is healing BEAUTIFULLY. Thank you Aspen Park Vet Hospital for caring for animals and people so well. We are grateful we found you!

I have been taking my cat, Katy, to see Dr. Q for years. Last December, Katy presented with some health concerns and I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Dr. Q and her staff have been amazing at helping me navigate the health concerns with Katy! At each appointment, Dr. Q has been great at explaining everything to me and making sure my questions are answered! In between appointments, the staff has also been very responsive if I have questions or concerns come up! Thank you Dr. Q and staff! Katy and I are very grateful for all the support and help!

Where do I start with this gem of a practice?Dr.Questen and her fabulous team are the best!

Our axolotl Kirby needed to get her little leg taken off and we called our vet and they did not have any availability so they referred us to a couple of places, but Aspen Park was by far the most caring, and most accommodating by far. They were able to get us in next day by 9:30 am. We even arrived late and they were still kind enough to still see my little girl. Dr.Q was able to help Kirby and did such a wonderfull job. After care instructions were detailed, and the cost was reasonable for exotic care and surgery. Thank you so much Aspen Park Vet!!

Karla, Bryce and Kirby 🙂

We wanted to love this vet, as we like and appreciate the holistic approach. After our initial visit/diagnosis we found it very difficult to get a hold of Dr. Q when we had some serious health concerns with our pup. It took several days to get any kind of response back from this facility, and not from Dr. Q but the front desk staff (who were very kind and eager to help as much as they could), but we wanted to discuss our options and next steps with the doctor herself before committing to surgery or treatment - which was a big deal to us and should be taken seriously. After several back and forth interactions via email and calling in, we were still never able to talk with the doctor directly. Unfortunately we felt there was a lack of care, urgency and authenticity, which is not something we are interested in when it comes to the care of our fur baby.

Edited (per response below): This is upsetting, and further solidifies our feelings regarding the lack of professionalism and authenticity. This was the first time we brought our dog in for this issue, and chose your vet because we wanted to go a more natural and holistic approach, and also wanted to find a vet that he felt more comfortable at. He is 85 lbs of nothing but love, but he does have anxiety at the vet. By no means was he a danger to your staff, so that was a ridiculous statement. You also work with horses, so I’m not sure why you felt the need to say his size was an issue. To clarify, we came to you with concerns and you sent us home with overpriced antibiotics and a topical cream that didn’t help his issue. From there you recommended laser therapy via email, which we felt was an aggressive approach for the early stages of his condition, which required 3 visits a week as an ongoing treatment. This is not feasible for the average person’s schedule, not to mention for my dog who has anxiety going to the vet, and this kind of treatment is also extremely expensive. This felt like a cash grab. After this recommendation was given to us we asked to speak to you about it and to discuss alternative solutions. It took several days of reaching out to your office to get any kind of response, and we never were able to speak with you directly to discuss this matter. Your records should show you that. In the meantime I took it upon myself to do my own research and speak with others who have also dealt with this condition and had success, and that is when I chose to go the route I did. I asked your office if you could write us a prescription for that medication, which I very much appreciate the ladies helping me see that through. At no point did I see Dr. Hunt(?) or any other vet at your facility, all communication was through your front staff. There was no follow up after the prescription was made (nor did I expect that), our business at your vet was done at that point. I don’t appreciate the exploitation of personal information on Google, but since its already out there I wanted to make sure the facts were straight for those considering visiting your practice with their beloved pets. For the record, our boy is seeing incredible results and is weening off all medications. We have been able to eliminate his allergies with a new raw diet, which we believe was the culprit for his other conditions. I would have expected exploring the root cause of his issues to be a first step from a holistic practice like yours, but I suppose that would be far less expensive and complicated than laser therapy. I appreciate the time you and your staff spent with us, but respectfully your practice isn't a good fit for us. We do wish you the best.

My dog had uneven pupils- we could see this looking at him.
This clinic charged me FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to verify what I could see myself, that yes his pupils are uneven and to take a blood draw and give us a phone number to a specialist.
They then emailed his blood results and never called us. I had to call them twice to get them to go over the blood results with me since I am not trained in dog lab work. Someone who was not the vet finally called back and told me his white blood count was low but not concerning and to take him to the specialist. A simple google reveals low white blood count could mean an infection so I asked a veterinarian friend of mine to look at the blood test results and she said, the white blood count was actually so low it is either A a mistake, B a massive infection C something more serious and she would recommend retaking the blood test and then antibiotics. She also asked if this clinic did an eye exam which they did not. They literally looked at him and verified, yes his pupils are uneven. I had to call this vet FOUR more times (six times total) after paying them FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to get help for my dog. Never at any point did I speak to a vet on the phone. They had the gall to say they would redo the blood work with a charge. So to summarize, they charged FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to verify what I could already see, uneven pupils and to email blood work that may or may not be an error and if it was not an error, to say it was not concerning when another vet said it IS concerning. This was a deeply upsetting experience where I had to advocate for a potentially sick dog and obviously we will NEVER go back there again.

VERY POOR FOLLOW UP_ IF AT ALL. DO yourself and your pet a favor , look elsewhere as the attention isn't here ( It might even save your pets life!)

Has to been the worst service and follow up I have ever seen from any Vet for ANY of my animals My partner brought in our dog Boomer and with an appointment waited almost 2 hours, then had to schedule a Ultrasound but couldn't get the Vet to provide results for over a week , even after numerous calls to the office, which the staff promising to have the Doc call us back. When she finally did, she said she was going to write an RX, which again after numerous calls, never did. I gave up and decided to go elsewhere and they wouldn't release the results of the ultrasound to me or my new Vet. Very unprofessional and very poor customer service . It shouldn't be this difficult to get a timely call or records that I paid over $600 for.
Needless to say , VERY disappointed and will never refer people to this practice .

(edit) Nice piece of fiction as a response. Because you did recommend a holistic diet , which we tried and again numerous follow up calls and even emails where answered " Sure , I will get the Doctor to call you back today, or I will send that information out to you right away.." You may stand by the customer service your staff provided , but is still unprofessional and substandard . And I do wish we read the feedback others had left before we took Boomer to your office, as it clearly looks like the treatment we received is not an outlier, more the way your office runs.

Hopefully more people don't make the same mistake, by trusting their pet to your officer if you see nothing wrong with my complaint, and others with the same complaint.. As you have stated "Clearly your practice wasn't a fit for us, clearly by reading the other reviews, it wasn't a fit for many others as well.
