It’s always a little iffy to find a good fit with a vet in a new community after moving, but my pup and I felt very welcome at our first visit to Bridge Street Veterinary Clinic. The staff rolled out the red carpet for us, and I felt like my dog was in competent, compassionate hands every step of the way. Additionally, the charges for this wellness check and a few routine hots were actually less than what I was used to, so that was a positive surprise too. I think we have found the right vet on our first try!

I thought I had found a great vet for my dogs. They are affordable UNTIL they make you keep going back and pay for wellness visits on top of whatever your dog needs because they didn’t do their job the first time. I would rather go somewhere a little more expensive and get the problem taken care of the first time.

Wow I’m really happy with this team of excellent vets!! I had peacocks seen today for respiratory infections - I received more help from them today than I received from CSU and two other veterinarians? thank you so much!

If I were to sum this team up in one word, it would be “kindness.” Thankfully, I don’t have to use only one word. So let me also add, “professional, compassionate, trustworthy, communicative, and flexible.”

We had to put out little guy down yesterday and I can’t even begin to tell you the support and care that the staff gave to us!!! Our vet Talor is the best. We also had to bring our other dog in the day before and again the staff was caring and supportive ❤️. I give them the HIGHEST rating possible and would recommend them to anyi and everyone!

Our dog has always had really bad allergies and kicks his ears until he breaks the cartilage in them. This has happened before. We have been battling his allergies since he was a baby. We normally take him to a different vet but this time we decided to try Bridge Street Veterinary clinic. The vet demanded surgery and explained it to us. My mom who is a nurse said she understood the procedure. The vet proceeded to cut her off and aggressively say “I’m the vet, I’m the one who went to school for 17 years and your nursing degree does not matter”. We asked if we had any other options due to the broken cartilage not being the root of the problem. She replied “no if you do not give the dog surgery then I will be reporting you to animal control for abuse.” The assistant then proceeded to say “or you guys can just give him up”. Our animals are very well taken care of and do not miss out. We felt trapped in a corner and attacked so we agreed to do the surgery. Later this day we called to cancel the appointment and took him to his primary vet. They gave us steroids, antibiotics, pain meds and a shot for his allergies. The next day he seemed to be feeling better. Instead of leaving it at that the vet from Bridge Street Veterinary clinic proceed to call our dogs primary vet to get our dogs medical records without us requesting it or approving it. When Horizon declined the request due to us not approving it, they sent animal control to our house. We showed them proof of all of his records and him being taken care of. The officer who seen us laughed and said that we had more than enough proof showing he is not being abused. If this proceeds it is getting to the point of my family feeling uncomfortable and harassed. All we wanted was our dog to be taken care of.
