The customer service when calling by phone is absolutely awful. I was kept on hold for 20 minutes and then the computer hung up on me. That’s outrageous!!! I just needed to make a follow up appointment. I’m extremely disappointed. All that said Dr Brodsky, the oncologist, is a fantastic doctor. My dog has undergone 2 courses of chemotherapy and my wonder dog is still doing well at 13. The treatments went very well. The costs are another story. I think the treatments are very expensive. The senior discount is only about 5%. And if you don’t remind them every visit they will not apply it and they will not take it off later.

We came through triage and vet techn Dan was extremely helpful, caring, and understanding of our concerns and Jackson's issues. Along with the very helpful doctor hutt.

The er was able to get Jackson an emergency consult with dr Barrone (neurologist) which could have taken months to get seen. Dr Barrone was knowledgeable and had a clear path forward for IVDD. So thankful for her expertise.

Vet technician Jacqui was phenomenal and spent 40 minutes walking me through the discharge then followed up multiple times after we were discharged. She was real and related to me on so many levels.

It's going to be a long road for Jackson but we are on the right track with the folks at VMcli. I would like to note yes this service is expensive but you get what you pay for and we are happy we have a strong support system while we navigate Jackson's new normal. Thank you VMCLI!

Found stray kittens in bad shape eyes crusted over and one very lethargic. Bought them thinking they would take them in but was essentially held hostage and one died while with them in the back as they cleaned them up and looked at them. We started to leave and got chased down and told they'll call the cops and we have to take the kittens even if they're dying. Receptionist with tongue ring RAN into the middle of parking lot to block off my exit, I wasn't even in my car yet! Absolutely insane behavior. Told to find somewhere else or leave them outside but they can't stay there. I bet if I had money they would've had the space and hands to help, but they're stray kittens and as they said there are so many. They have you sign a good Samaritan form just to show why they are down in stock for the one eye ointment for 3 kittens that they gave me. I'm beyond baffled at this places reaction to kittens who are dying.

My 20 year old Siamese cat Iggy had broken his leg by jumping off a table . Having also CDK, and considering his age surgery was high risk since screws to repair the fracture might not hold in his arthritic leg. Amputation was considered and it broke my heart to imagine my wonderful Iggy who was beloved by all family, friends and neighbors ( yes he walked the streets of Brooklyn and came home as soon as I called him) not being able to walk.
The wonderful Dr. Catanas mentioned that I might have to consider to let him go. I was devastated and helpless.

Dr. Catanas and Dr. Alward were the most compassionate, patient and kind people to be with at this difficult moment .
I met Dr. Catanas first and thought I would be getting on her nerves by asking her again and again to talk to me about the pending decision, but she was so understanding and took me every time to a private room listened to me and and helped me to get clear in my mind.
I needed another night to think over everything and when I came the next day Dr. Hutt gave me a private room for two hours so that I had a last wonderful time with my companion of 20 years.
Then Dr. Alward came to give my Iggy the injection. She was so tender and talked to him gently while he was lying on my breast half asleep and he didn’t even move. He just passed very peacefully.
I was grateful that Dr. Alward stayed with me for a while after he was gone. It was helpful not to be alone in this moment.
I cannot say enough good about the 3 doctors I encountered and even the young man at the reception who had to come in the room to do the paper work. They were all so sensitive and kind and compassionate . This was the best place for me for this hard thing to happen.I am so grateful to all of them.

Dr. Sarah was amazing! Her knowledge was comforting as we made decisions for our sweet girl. Her compassion and kindness was very much appreciated. The staff was also kind. Our comfort level of leaving our girl with them was a 10/10.

I found a mourning dove on my front lawn who was hurt. I brought the bird into the facility to get help. Called several hours later to see how it was doing and was told they can not tell me that information per the manager. Who’s hipa are you protecting? It wouldn’t be strange to ask especially when you care for animals. That place is shady to begin with. Never had a good experience there. Worth driving to VEG if you can get there. They even let you go back with your pet. No secrets there.

I was very impressed with the care and kindness the doctors and other staff members showed both my dog and me. They are very organized, and thorough. Made me feel like they really cared about my dog. Called me right away with results and emailed them to me when I asked. I am very pleased with VMCLI

I'm giving 5 stars for the vets (especially Dr. Morganstern in cardiology and Dr. Ostrich in the ER) and the caring and professional vet techs. They are all truly amazing people and very skilled in their profession. I'm also giving the 5 stars in the hopes that someone in management actually reads the review because I suspect they just skip over the negative reviews. There certainly are quite a number of them, specifically regarding the issue I truly wished to address with them directly before coming and posting here publicly.

Their front desk staff, specificially regarding their abhorrent financial practices and how they choose to discuss them with you....absolutely awful and frankly, made a very stressful and scary situation much worse. I can handle it and would handle anything for my dog....but holding him in the back when he's been discharged (over $40....that you didn't inform me was outstanding) is NOT good for a dog who is in heart failure and full of diueretic. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

I wrote them an email with details of what occurred in their ER when my dog had an escalation of symptoms almost 3 weeks ago. I've heard nothing in return. I understand they are busy but there is no excuse for that. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for veterinary medicine and have and will contiune to pay for the high quality care my dog's cardiologist provides. I don't question the prices. I do take serious issue with the way one is treated and informed of their (entirely absurd) credit card policies in a literal emergency. Entirely shameful. Further shameful that there is no follow up to an email discussing them once the facility had the (violating) documentation they asked for. The documentation they called me twice to get before I could even get my dog (again, in heart failure) home and settled. They had been paid in full at this point. And this is just a brief summation of all that occurred there that day. I encourage anyone who had a truly awful experience here related to their financial practices to file a report with the NYS Attorney General's office. After not hearing back from their pracitce for 3 weeks, I have no other choice it seems.

Back to the 5 stars. Dr. Morganstern is a gem. Knowledgable, compassionate, and one of my dog's besties now! The meds he has prescribed have greatly helped my dog have a very good quatliy of life. If you need a cardiologist, absoutely he's your guy. Dr Ostrich in the ER was kind, informative knowledgable and efficent. She does give a follow up call and emails a discharge summary. The techs are kind and take wonderful care of my beloved Cavalier. Here's a pic of him!
