I'd been taking my late babies here for years. Dr Kiani and Dr Colon have been some of the most attentive and compassionate vets I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I especially had the pleasure of having Dr Colon on their care and she has always been incredible. She's clear, she's communicative, she's compassionate, and thorough. She tried everything she could and gave my babies the happiest and healthy life she could with excellent veterinary care. She leveled with me frankly and was so respectful of my and their needs.

My babies have since passed, and it was a gentle and merciful experience. Dr Colon was one major part of their health, happiness, and my inner peace. I can't recommend them higher and I'm extremely satisfied with their care.

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff that genuinely care about the well-being of your pet. All of the staff were extremely kind, from the front desk to the doctors, and took the time to explain things thoroughly. I have taken my very fear-reactive dog here for almost 3 years to be seen by Dr. K and every time was met with compassion and understanding. Each visit the staff worked with us to set my dog up for success which goes beyond any other veterinary practice I have visited. They are also one of the most affordable practices I have come across. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

I have taken my 2 dogs to Harlem Animal Hospital for the past 7 years. Dr. Kiani has always taken such good care of my girls and carefully explains what is going on and the treatment options. In the last couple of years she monitored my older dog’s renal insufficiency and eventual failure. Despite all the years of care, it was her support and guidance in Olives last month that not only helped Olive, but me also get through such a difficult time. Even after she passed, Dr. K followed up with me to see how I was doing. The staff at the hospital is also wonderful and they take the time you need to get to know the personality of your pet. As awful as it was to lose my first dog, I am grateful for all the support and kindness I received at Harlem Animal Hospital.

My experience at this hospital has been amazing. They treat us with undivided attention and take their time with my pet. I travel from Queens because the doctors care for my pet and practice great medicine. The medical records are easily accessible when requested. The staff is very helpful when booking appointments and during appointments to make me feel at home with the best care for my pet. I would definitely recommend coming to this hospital!

My dog Weasley was my heart and soul, so my unwavering trust in Dr. Kiani and her staff says a lot. Weasley was diagnosed with CHF in 2018 and I rushed him into Harlem Animal Hospital under an emergency visit- and I am thankful everyday that Dr. Kiani was working that day. I thought my world was ending, but thanks to her expertise Weasley long outlived his prognosis of 6months-1year resulting in an unexpected extra 4 more happy years together. Weasley was a drama king who always had something wrong with him.. skin problems, possible cushings, seizures. He was a complicated and difficult case and Dr. Kiani went above and beyond for him. Never pushing any unnecessary treatments, always putting his quality of life first. Weasley and I were frequent fliers at Harlem Animal hospital over the last 5 years and Dr. Kiani is the first vet he didn't shiver and panic at! I truly think he grew to understand she was there to help him. Dr. Kiani was even kind enough to come to our apartment so my baby could peacefully pass in his home and in my arms.

Having Dr. Kiani as my vet gave me the peace of knowing that Weasley was always in the best of hands, and it also gave me the peace of knowing when it was time to say goodbye, we had done everything humanly possible for him and I could let him go without questioning myself. Dr. Kiani was there for us during the hardest parts of Weasley's life, and gave us so much more time with him then I ever could have hoped, and I will be eternally grateful. And thankful for all his staff who loved and cared for Weasley. You will always be in my heart, just like Weasley.

Great animal hospital. Excellent doctors and care. 1 star gets deducted for the groomer Nelson, I wrote on the form Don’t trim his tail hair and I told him verbally not to touch his tail but needs a short cut all over. On top of this, he added $15 for Chewy being “difficult”. Lucky for me his hair grows out thick and fast- his tail is long and flowing because he’s a SHIH TZU!!! Shame on him for not following directions!

I received a lovely phone call from the practice manager Amanda Agurto who explained that Nelson was an independent contractor and not a direct employee of Harlem Animal Hospital. She apologized for him not doing what I asked and stated she’d talk to him about what happened and confirmed this isn’t something they will dismiss as they want their customers to be happy with the services.
I appreciate being heard and her taking the time to discuss it.

Harlem Animal Hospital is one of my dog's favorite places to visit in the city! He is treated with so much love and care from the second we walk in the door. I am extremely thankful to everyone at Harlem Animal Hospital for providing him with top notch veterinary care. We've been patients since we first brought our dog home for boarding, routine care, and emergency visits.
