If you’re looking for a warm and fuzzy conversation, stick with your therapist.

I think a common misunderstanding is the role of the Psychiatrist in mental health services. They’re there to objectively observe and diagnose a patient non-biased for medication reconciliation only.

There are some that are more warm and fuzzy, but Dr. Reddy is damn good at what he does and you cannot take that for granted.

Which is diagnosis of mental health disorders and trying to remedy those impairing or distributive symptoms you are feeling.

If you rethink his role and see him as a medical provider who monitors your medication only… then you won’t be disappointed by him. He listens. He’s attentive and he’s funny, when appropriate but not afraid to call you out.

Now wait time, yes, it can be long but he’s one of the ONLY providers in town. So you should plan ahead.

His staff, which I have said to his face, has gotten BETTER in the recent years but, they aren’t always the best. So download the patient app and message him directly, make appts and refill meds really easily.

If you need a hug, validation… or to talk through your thoughts, with an empathetic and warm embrace. Dr. Reddy isn’t it. He’s a medical provider. See a therapist.

You want meds that work and a provider who is willing to listen to the side effects and your improvement, he’s the man. Period.

I've been taking my kids to Dr. Reddy for a few years now. He is extremely knowledgeable and hyper observative of personality traits and behaviors. In our first appointment I was shocked at how exact and quickly he read my son and his issues.

He is a bit unique in his bedside matter, but having a husband as a doctor, I'm very awar that a good doctor doesn't equate to your personality preferences. In this case I'm interested in someone who is transparent and thoughtful of my child's health.

The waits are long at his office, but it's something I just expect, just like I expect to wait forever at th obgyn. To me the help and improvement my kid has had far outweighs small inconveniences I might deal with during a visit.

*update: since writing this review, I received a certified letter in the mail stating that my services were terminated.

He's fine, but the wait, omg. My appt is at 9. I get here 15 min early. I sit for 30-45 in the waiting room, then another 15-30 min back in his one of his two offices. He has to be over booking. I've been using him for 3 years. I've waiting to leave the review, in case it gets better. The only thing I see is more money being pumped into the office. Remodels, leather seating, but still the slowest service EVER!! I know there will be a long wait before even coming in now, but my gosh, beware. I heard they do video appts, I think I might start doing that from now on. At least I can be at my home while I wait an hour for my appt. It's not like you're with him long. I usually only see the doctor for 5-10 min. But he's fine. Meds are working.

This is my second review. I still believe that he has helped me tremendously. I’ve been going to him for about 5 to 6 years.
People have a misconception about what he is supposed to do. He’s not a therapist he’s a psychiatrist.
I’ve never found him to be rude or unprofessional. He has given me life altering treatment. I don’t think I could have ever become so strong had it not been for his treatments and medication.
I truly thank him for all he has done for me.
His office staff is amazing.

Dr Reddy has been my Dr for over 10 years and he has been fabulous. He worked with me to get me on the right combination of medication. He really listened to me and was very open minded to try new treatments. I'm sad that I have to leave but we are moving to Texas. I hope to find a Dr in Texas that's as caring as Dr Reddy. Dr Reddy is the WORST psychiatrist i've seen, I waited over an hour to see him to get re diagnosed ADHD and he started digging into other parts of my life that had no relation to my ADHD, he proceeded to get upset about the things i was telling him and the answers i gave him. He was very unprofessional and rude, do NOT waste your money or time to come here. Waste of an MD

I’ve been with Dr. Reddy for 4 years (and a couple weeks if we’re being 100% accurate). When I started with him, I was in a very, very terrible place with my mental health. I have treatment resistant depression, and at that point had spent a lot of time not being fully listened to by previous providers. I went in hesitant with Dr. Reddy, but he pretty quickly eased my worries. We’d try a new medication, I’d to the typical amount of time with it that you’re supposed to give meds to fully titrate, and if I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the results, neither was he. Go figure, the medications that work for me are the ones that don’t yet have generics, and my insurance doesn’t cover them. I’ve never had to worry, except for some waiting, he always had it taken care of. And he’s always, always made sure that waiting period didn’t mean I was going without anything I needed. On two separate occasions, I’ve approached him about wanting to try certain treatments that may or may not have worked for me— he made them happen and more importantly, made sure they were actually accessible to me. When one didn’t work, and was overwhelming me, he heard me. The other one did and is currently working for me, and I can honestly tell how genuinely happy he is that it’s been effective and that I’m feeling better. This man is BUSY and I see first hand the time and dedication he puts forth for his patients. it might sound dramatic, but Dr. Reddy saved my life. Not necessarily saved it from ending, but he certainly saved it from being something I simply had to cope and deal with. He’s helped me actually appreciate and enjoy the life I’m living.

Dr. Reddy is wonderful! I know he has my best interests at heart and I trust that the treatment plan he has me on will benefit me in the near future. I’m on medication at the moment and though I’m a bit nervous about it, I completely trust his process. It’s only been about a month and I already feel sooo much better! And btw, some one star reviews here are usually just upset patients that don’t like to hear the honest truth or they don’t get the Rx increase they requested. Some people aren’t genuinely interested in healing properly. Dr Reddy doesn’t recommend Rx treatment unless it’s absolutely necessary and he’ll wean you off safely and in a timely manner. He’s professional, easy to talk to and he respects you as a patient. I recommend him 100% if your looking to improve and heal your mental health. Thank you Dr. Reddy, you have been a true blessing to me.
